Bringing a new definition to the word empathy; Allyson Lavoie (she/her) is a multifaceted artist full of curiosity, drive, and passion for connecting with others! 

 

As a devoted artist and natural leader, Allyson approaches her work with honesty, honor, and responsibility. She is a life-long student who is always curious and eager to take notes.

 

Allyson sees the bigger picture because of her thoughtful and empathetic nature, and because she is always listening and observing.

Using a combination of in-depth text work and a movement-based approach, Allyson strives to find the nuanced complexities within the work she tackles on stage. She is fearlessly dedicated to the quest for finding connection and purpose in the arts.

 

Allyson graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island with minors in Theatre Directing and Gender and Women's Studies. She is passionate about pursuing a career in the mental health field as a Clinical Psychologist while also maintaining her relationship with the arts. She is going to attend Antioch University New England's Doctorate of Clinical Psychology program.
